Grumble, mumble, grr...

Will someone please remind Mother Nature it's supposed to be spring here already?  What's up with the SNOW?!  I woke up to an inch of it yesterday, and today, it's all howling winds and freezing rain.  Sheesh.

On the plus side... well, there really is no plus side to that.

OH! Wait! I did work from home yesterday and today, so that is a plus. If I'd had to walk to the train station in this, I'd have been (even more) severely ticked off.  Also managed to get a chapter and a half on the new book done, so that's a plus too.  Ok, so  there were a couple of pluses to staying home in bad weather. :)

What's new in your world?

  1. We finally had a spring day here in the northwest. It rained a bit this morning, but the afternoon and evening we have blue sky and sunshine. I suspect it may be a mistake, and we'll go back to rainy and gloomy shortly.

I do have half a new sonnet. Presently, I'm looking for the other half.

  3. Good for you for your chapter and a half!

It's been raining, sleeting and snowing by us. We had an electrical storm earlier today. And the grass was looking so green and pretty, too.

  4. Hi Kate, I live in Africa and should really not complain about the weather but it is rainy and cold here. We have no idea how to deal with this weather:) I have never seen snow in real life so for me that would have been a plus to wake up to snow....hihihi. Have a great day. Etain:)

  6. Thanks, EDIE. I'm really trying to force myself to do *something* every day to further this darn story, even if it's just brainstorm. Sounds like you guys are having the same weather we are - hope you can take advantage of it by snuggling in with a good book or some writing.

ETAIN! So good to see you here. :) Trust me, the snow is beautiful at first, but it gets old really fast. :)

CHARLES - Thanks. You are a wise man. ;)
