Romance

I was blog hopping this morning through some of my favorites, still a little crabby from a long, hard week, still questioning whether I should even attempt to write romance being the cynic I am, and came across this.

Love Letter

I'm going to go find some more Kleenex now.

  1. Kate, that is beautiful. Isn't that how we all want to be loved? Thank you for linking.

  2. It was lovely. I don't think they make them like that anymore. :)

  4. Thanks, Spy. I think I've just been a Miss Crabby-Pants this week. :) I'll get over it...eventually... :)

  5. There are some things that come at just the right moments. This was one of them. Thank you, Kate.

  6. Kate, I'm always sentimental when it comes to those fighting wars sending letters home, or having a friend hold on to them in case of death. Steven Baldwin wrote "There would be no war if only the dead could return."

  7. Aw, Susan, I'm glad that you were able to take something extra from that.

Wayne, nice to see you here. This letter was beautiful as a simple love letter, but so poignant because he knew it might be his last. Heartbreaking because it was real.
