Not so Magical Monday

Well, this will be the second week in a row I've had to miss my "Magical Monday" post. I've been working 50-60hr weeks the past two weeks, with two more weeks of the same to go, so I'm just to brain fried to post anything. The real miracle will be if I survive this month. :)

I do have a publisher's chat tonight starting at 9EST, or 8 central if you'd like to stop by. I'll try to remember to be there. I'm terrible - I always forget, and tonight my daughter needs the computer for a while for homework, so I'm hoping she'll be done in time. If not tonight, another Monday then.

Have a great week!

  2. Thanks, Edie. I'm trying. :)

I guess since no gorillas have shown up yet, I'm still safe. (Though I swear I think I hear some chest thumping outside my door...)

  4. I went to the chat and lurked. I wanted to eavesdrop on what the romance fans would be talking about. And....it was like every other chat I've ever lurked on. Why was no one talking about heaving bosoms and swarthy men named Esteban?

  5. Thanks, Michelle.

LOL Stewart. What part of the chat did you come in on? It tends to disintegrate from talking about the books to things much more personal. I didn't get there until really late myself (as usual). When I got on, we had about 10 minutes of book talk then the rest was more personal.

Although... I suppose it was still useful from a writer's point of view. Were you still on when it got around to "how much did your first time hurt?" :D

You probably would have liked the chat before that more - it was all about the best sci-fi movies & tv shows with swarthy, heaving-bosom aliens. :)

  6. Hey, when I got there it was nothing but meandering dialogue and meaningless blatherings. If it had been a discussion about painful first times...I definitely would have stayed.

I found it interesting though. I got there about nine fifteen and stayed about twenty five minutes. You weren't there. Another Katherine was, and at first I thought it was you, but then someone made a reference to you and I figured you probably had forgotten or gotten caught up in something else.

  7. Hmmm... so they were talking about me behind my back, were they? :)

I didn't get online until about 9:45 so I just missed you by a few minutes. I thought maybe you were the lurker "Georgygirl". :)

  8. Oh, hi, Etain! :) Thanks for stopping by and the kind words. It's been a rough week and it's only Wednesday.
