Well, as far as the lead, as much as I'd like to believe it's because I deserved it in some way (LOL) I've figured out that it's in order of appearance of the first new writers to the antho. Nevertheless, it's still pretty neat. :)
EDIE - LOL, as much as I'd like to believe that, I know better. :) I saw an excerpt for Katrina Strauss's story and it looks great. I left thinking, "Aw, man, I wish I'd thought of that!" *g* And I'm sure the others are just as good too. I'm anxious to read them when they come out. I just found out, too, that it's all been submitted to review sites and now I'm really worried! Yikes!
SPY - Thanks. There is a tentative date of 3/13, but that's subject to change. Sometime next month. They might even change the cover to alphabetical order by then, too, so I'm not going to get too excited. :) The two names below mine are new also--I haven't read their stuff yet--but the last two I've read before and they're both good.
